Real Customer Experience

Whilst heading up npower Ltd's Real Estate & Sustainability department Dave was directly responsible for the procurement of energy, water and waste services for not just npower Ltd but the whole RWE/Innogy group of companies in the UK.

In 2009 energy costs were over £5.5 million but by 2016, utilising the Energy Management systems Dave implemented, including the Carbon Trust Triple Standard and both ISO14001 and ISO50001 accreditation this bill is now below £1.4 million.

Waste to landfill was reduced from over 65% to less than 5% in the same time and water usage was reduced by over 20,000,000 litres per year.

Energy Procurement

Dave was the FIRST person in the UK to sign up for npower's DBM Flexible Purchasing product and saved over £240,000 in the first year by buying energy through the market.  Over the 10 years since the contract was signed npower has saved over £3,300,000 against the same usage through Fixed price contracts.

Branching out

With the sad news in November 2019 that npower was to close its doors, Dave has setup his own company to deliver his knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to the wider market.

Looking to educate and bring Energy Management to the forefront of all businesses

Specialist Knowledge

Dave not only knows about Energy Management but has specialised in EV Charging infrastructure, Demand Side Response solutions and working with 3rd parties to deliver Energy Saving Projects.
